أَمِين
Prophet Lot introduces himself to his people with an essential quality: trustworthiness.
إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.
Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:162
In this verse, Prophet Lot affirms that he is a trustworthy messenger. He does not seek to impose himself, but he reminds that he conveys a sincere message. This statement invites trust and honesty. In our daily lives, we can show our sincerity by being reliable in our words and commitments. Being trustworthy means keeping promises and telling the truth, even when it is difficult.
Today, do one small act with honesty: keep a promise you made to someone or tell a truth you were tempted to avoid.
