إِخْلَاص
This verse teaches us to seek reward only from Allah.
إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
My reward is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:164
In this passage, a prophet addresses his people. He tells them that he does not ask any payment for guiding them. He clarifies that his reward is only with Allah, the Lord of the worlds. This shows the importance of sincerity: acting for Allah, without expecting recognition from people. In our daily lives, we may be tempted to seek approval or compensation. This verse invites us to purify our intentions. When we help or advise, let us do it for Allah. Thus, our heart remains free and our action takes on its full meaning.
Today, do a good deed in secret, without anyone knowing, thinking that Allah alone will reward you.
