دُعَاء
A man turns to Allah to ask for protection for himself and his family.
رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهۡلِي مِمَّا يَعۡمَلُونَ
My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do.
Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:169
This verse reports the supplication of a man confronted with an environment whose actions are evil. It is not about judging, but about confiding in Allah. He asks to be spared, he and his family, from the consequences of these deeds. In our lives, we may witness harmful behaviors. This verse invites us to turn to Allah, to entrust our protection and that of our loved ones to Him, rather than being overwhelmed by worry.
Today, supplicate Allah by saying: 'My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequence of] what they do.'
