A Word from the Lord

This verse affirms the divine origin of the Quran.

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَنزِيلُ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

And indeed, this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:192

Verse 192 of Surah Ash-Shu'araa declares that the Quran is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. It does not come from a human source. The following verse specifies that the Trustworthy Spirit brought it down, but without identifying him. Thus, the Quran is a word that comes from Allah.

This certainty can bring peace to our hearts. When we read the Quran, we receive a message that transcends us. We can approach it with trust and humility, seeking to understand what our Creator tells us.
