الإنذار
This verse reminds us that the Quran was sent down upon the Prophet's heart to warn.
عَلَىٰ قَلۡبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنذِرِينَ
Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners
Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:194
Verse 194 of Surah Ash-Shu'araa states that the Quran was sent down upon the Prophet's heart. The previous verse specifies that it was brought by the Trustworthy Spirit. The following verse adds that it is in a clear Arabic language. Thus, the Quran is a clear revelation, meant to warn. Today, we can reflect on the fact that the Quran addresses our hearts. We can read it attentively, as a personal message, and let its warnings touch us.
