In this verse, Solomon asks Allah to help him be grateful.
Enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents.
Quran, An-Naml 27:19
Solomon smiled kindly upon hearing the ant. Then he turned to Allah and asked Him to help him thank Him for His favors, to him and to his parents. He also asked for strength to do good deeds that Allah approves. This verse teaches us that gratitude is a gift from Allah. We can ask Him to help us recognize His blessings and use them to do good.
Today, take a moment to say: 'O Allah, help me to thank You for Your blessings.'
