عَدَمُ مُعَاوَنَةِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Moses, after being forgiven, pledges not to assist the criminals.
فَلَنۡ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرٗا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
"... I will never be an assistant to the criminals"
Quran, Al-Qasas 28:17
In this verse, Moses addresses Allah after receiving His forgiveness. He acknowledges divine favors and promises not to be a supporter of criminals. This shows that gratitude to Allah translates into a commitment not to participate in evil. In our daily lives, we may witness injustices or harmful behaviors. Sometimes our silence or indifference can be a form of support. This verse invites us to be vigilant and to refuse to contribute, even passively, to what is wrong.
Today, identify a situation where you might be complicit in wrongdoing (e.g., gossip or cheating) and decide not to take part.
