The Prophet Shu'ayb reminds his people of the foundations of a righteous life.
"O my people, worship Allah and expect the Last Day and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:36
This verse brings together three commands addressed to the people of Madyan: to worship Allah alone, to hope for the Last Day, and not to spread corruption on earth. These three attitudes are associated in a single call. In our daily lives, we can ask ourselves if our actions reflect these three orientations. Worshipping Allah means giving Him priority; hoping for the Last Day means acting with awareness; not spreading corruption means avoiding anything that harms others and the earth.
Today, do one action that preserves the earth, such as disposing of waste properly or avoiding wasting water.
