عِلْم
This verse invites us to seek knowledge to grasp the parables of the Quran.
وَمَا يَعۡقِلُهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡعَٰلِمُونَ
But none will understand them except those of knowledge.
Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:43
In this verse, Allah mentions that He presents parables to people, but only those with knowledge understand them. The previous verse reminds us that Allah knows everything people invoke besides Him, and the next affirms that He created the heavens and the earth in truth. Thus, understanding parables is linked to knowledge. This encourages us to learn and reflect. Seeking knowledge helps us better understand the Quran and see Allah's signs in creation.
Today, reflect on a parable from the Quran you know and write down one lesson you learn from it.
