مَوْت
This verse reminds us of a universal truth: every soul will taste death.
كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ
Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.
Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:57
This verse states that death is inevitable for every soul. It is not a threat but a reminder: our life here has an end. The following verse clarifies that those who believe and do righteous deeds will receive a beautiful reward in Paradise. Thus, death is not an end in itself but a passage to Allah. Faced with this certainty, we are invited to prepare for our meeting with Allah. Each day is an opportunity to do good, strengthen our faith, and accumulate good deeds. Awareness of death helps us give meaning to our choices and live with sincerity.
Today, perform a sincere good deed, even a small one, thinking that you will present it to Allah.
