جَنَّة
This verse announces a beautiful reward for those who combine faith and good deeds.
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ غُرَفٗا تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۚ نِعۡمَ أَجۡرُ ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ
And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers.
Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:58
The verse associates faith and good deeds. It promises these believers elevated chambers in Paradise, with rivers flowing beneath, and eternal life. This is a hope that encourages perseverance. In our daily lives, every sincere effort to do good counts. We can keep this promise in mind to strengthen our trust in Allah and our motivation to do good.
Today, perform a sincere good deed, even a small one, while thinking of this promise of lofty chambers.
