This verse invites us to reflect on the meaning of our existence.
Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term.
Quran, Ar-Rum 30:8
The verse calls us to contemplate within ourselves. Allah created the heavens, the earth, and everything between them with truth and for a determined period. This creation is not a game or chance. Many people are unaware of the meeting with their Lord. Yet this reflection reminds us that our life has a purpose and an end. It invites us to prepare for the Hereafter.
Take a minute today to observe the sky or the earth, and remember that everything was created with truth and for a specified term.
