تَسْبِيحٌ
This verse invites us to a simple and profound practice: glorifying Allah at two key moments of the day.
فَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصۡبِحُونَ
So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.
Quran, Ar-Rum 30:17
The verse calls us to acknowledge Allah's perfection in the evening and in the morning. These moments frame our days: the beginning and the end. The surrounding verses mention the fate of those who deny Allah's signs, then the praise due to Him in the heavens and the earth. Here, glorification is presented as a natural response to His greatness. In our daily life, we can take a moment, in the morning upon waking and in the evening before sleeping, to simply say 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah). This helps us start and end the day with awareness of His presence.
Today, upon waking and before sleeping, say 'Subhan Allah' once, reflecting on His greatness.
