This verse invites us to give to those who have rights upon us.
So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler.
Quran, Ar-Rum 30:38
The verse commands giving to the relative, the needy, and the traveler what is due to them. It is not optional charity but a right. This generosity is best for those who seek Allah's pleasure, and they are the successful ones. In our daily lives, we can start with our relatives: a call, concrete help, a supportive gesture. Then think of the poor and travelers we encounter. Every gesture counts.
Today, contact a family member in need and offer concrete help, even modest.
