الْفَسَاد
This verse reminds us that our actions have visible consequences on land and sea.
ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِي ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَيۡدِي ٱلنَّاسِ
Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of people have earned.
Quran, Ar-Rum 30:41
The verse links corruption on land and sea to human actions. It does not say everything is caused by us, but it invites us to consider our responsibilities. Allah wants us to taste some of our deeds so that we might return to Him. Today, pollution, conflicts, or injustice may seem distant. Yet this verse makes us actors: each of our choices, even small, contributes to the common good or harm. Returning to Allah also means correcting our behaviors.
Today, choose one concrete action to preserve nature or help someone, and ask Allah for forgiveness while acknowledging your mistakes.
