الْفَضْل
This verse teaches us that Allah rewards believers who do good deeds out of His bounty.
لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦٓ
That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty.
Quran, Ar-Rum 30:45
In this verse, Allah announces that He rewards those who believe and do righteous deeds. This reward comes from His bounty, not as a due. The previous verse clarifies that each person prepares their own future by their actions. Here, Allah associates faith and good deeds with His generosity. We can live this reality by doing a small sincere action each day, without expecting immediate return. Allah's bounty is vaster than our efforts.
Today, do a discreet good deed, like helping someone or saying a kind word, thinking that it is by Allah's bounty that it will be accepted.
