Visible and Hidden Blessings

This verse invites us to contemplate Allah's generosity.

وَأَسۡبَغَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعَمَهُۥ ظَٰهِرَةٗ وَبَاطِنَةٗۗ

And He has amply bestowed upon you His favors, both apparent and unapparent.

Quran, Luqman 31:20

Allah reminds us that He has subjected to us whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Then He mentions that He has granted us blessings, both apparent and hidden. The verse does not specify them, but it encourages us to recognize them.

In our daily lives, we can reflect on these blessings. Some are obvious, like food or health. Others are more subtle, like faith or patience. Being aware of them helps us to be grateful.

Today, take a moment to write down three apparent blessings and three hidden blessings in your life, then thank Allah for each one.
