إِخْلَاص الدِّين
This verse shows how sincerity towards Allah is revealed in times of trial.
وَإِذَا غَشِيَهُم مَّوۡجٞ كَٱلظُّلَلِ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ
And when waves come over them like canopies, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion.
Quran, Luqman 31:32
In this verse, Allah describes people at sea, overwhelmed by a huge wave. In this distress, they turn to Him with total sincerity, devoting their worship exclusively to Him. This reflex shows that sincerity is deeply rooted in them, even if they do not always practice it. After saving them and bringing them to land, some of them remain moderate in faith, while others become ungrateful. This contrast invites us to persevere in sincerity, not only in difficult times, but also after being delivered.
Today, when you face a difficulty, call upon Allah with sincerity, and once the difficulty passes, continue to pray to Him with the same sincerity.
