سُجُود
This verse describes the attitude of true believers when faced with Allah's signs.
إِنَّمَا يُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهَا خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَسَبَّحُواْ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ۩
Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.
Quran, As-Sajda 32:15
This verse associates authentic faith with three attitudes: prostrating, glorifying Allah with praise, and refusing arrogance. It does not say these acts create faith, but that they accompany sincere faith. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this humility by pausing whenever we hear a verse or a word of reminder, to remember Allah and thank Him.
Today, whenever you hear a verse or a reminder, pause for a moment, say 'SubhanAllah', and thank Allah inwardly.
