نِعْمَة
This verse invites us to observe a natural phenomenon and recognize a sign in it.
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلۡمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡجُرُزِ فَنُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعٗا تَأۡكُلُ مِنۡهُ أَنۡعَٰمُهُمۡ وَأَنفُسُهُمۡۚ أَفَلَا يُبۡصِرُونَ
Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?
Quran, As-Sajda 32:27
The verse describes a simple cycle: water arrives on dry land, plants grow, and people and their animals eat from them. This phenomenon is presented as a sign to see and reflect upon. Today, we can observe this same process in nature. Taking time to look helps us realize how much our daily life depends on these elements.
Today, observe a tree or a plant and reflect on the water that made it grow.
