This verse invites us to send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, a simple and meaningful act.
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
Quran, Al-Ahzab 33:56
The verse associates Allah's and the angels' blessing of the Prophet with that of the believers. It does not specify a formula, but shows that this act is valued. By blessing him, we join a movement that honors him. In our daily life, taking a moment for this invocation reminds us of our bond with him. It is a simple way to show our love and respect, without complex words.
Today, after each prayer, say once: 'Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad'.
