العلم
This verse shows how knowledge enables us to recognize the truth of the Quran.
وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.
Quran, Saba 34:6
This verse links knowledge with the ability to recognize that the Quran is the truth. It does not say that knowledge creates this truth, but that it helps us discern it. The previous verse speaks of those who strive against the verses; here, the learned recognize them as true. In our daily lives, seeking knowledge helps us distinguish truth from falsehood. Every bit of learning can strengthen our understanding of the Quranic message and guide us on the right path.
