Doing Good with Care

This verse reminds us that Allah sees everything we do.

وَٱعۡمَلُواْ صَٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ

"And work righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."

Quran, Saba 34:11

In this passage, Allah addresses Prophet David and his people. He commands them to make coats of mail with precision, then adds: "And work righteousness." The verse thus associates careful work with good deeds. Allah states that He sees all that we do.

This word concerns us today. Every action, even a small one, can be a good deed if we do it with sincerity and care. We are responsible for our deeds, for Allah observes them.

Today, perform a task with extra care, remembering that Allah sees you.
