الإِنْفَاق
This verse teaches us that Allah compensates any expenditure made in goodness.
وَمَآ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰزِقِينَ
But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers.
Quran, Saba 34:39
In this verse, Allah tells the Prophet to say that it is He who grants or restricts provision to whom He wills. Then He affirms that any expenditure made in goodness is compensated by Him. This is not a promise of wealth, but an assurance of compensation. This encourages us to give without fear of loss. We can trust Allah to provide for our needs. Today, we can apply this by giving a little of our time or possessions to help someone.
Today, give a small amount of money or a bit of your time to someone in need, trusting Allah for compensation.
