نِعْمَة
This verse invites us to remember Allah's blessings and to acknowledge that He is the sole Creator and Provider.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ هَلۡ مِنۡ خَٰلِقٍ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤۡفَكُونَ
O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
Quran, Faatir 35:3
Allah addresses all people and asks them to remember His favor. He poses a question: is there any other creator who provides for us from the heaven and earth? The answer is no. Allah is the only Creator and Provider, and there is no deity except Him. This reminder helps us realize that everything we have comes from Him. By acknowledging this, we can cultivate gratitude in our daily lives.
Today, take a moment to thank Allah for a specific blessing, such as food or rain, by saying 'Alhamdulillah'.
