مَغْفِرَة
This verse contrasts the fate of those who reject faith with that of believers who do good deeds.
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَأَجۡرٞ كَبِيرٌ
Those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.
Quran, Faatir 35:7
The verse brings together two promises for believers: forgiveness of their faults and a great reward. It does not say these gifts are automatic, but that they accompany faith and good actions. In our daily lives, we can nurture this hope by connecting every sincere small action to this divine promise. This encourages us to persevere, even when our efforts seem modest.
Today, do one simple good deed, like helping someone or saying a kind word, hoping for Allah's forgiveness and reward.
