شُكْر
This verse invites us to reflect on the diversity of Allah's blessings to awaken our gratitude.
وَمِن كُلّٖ تَأۡكُلُونَ لَحۡمٗا طَرِيّٗا وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ حِلۡيَةٗ تَلۡبَسُونَهَا
And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear.
Quran, Faatir 35:12
The verse mentions two different seas: one fresh and sweet, the other salty and bitter. Yet from each, we obtain fresh meat and ornaments. This diversity shows Allah's generosity in providing us with varied blessings. In our lives, we encounter different situations and people. Each can bring us something useful. Recognizing these blessings, even in differences, helps us be grateful.
