رَجَاء
This verse teaches us to hope for Allah's reward for our good deeds.
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ أُجُورَهُمۡ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٞ
That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.
Quran, Faatir 35:30
The previous verse describes those who recite the Book of Allah, pray, and spend secretly and publicly. They hope for a trade that will never perish. This verse explains why: Allah will give them their full reward and add from His bounty. He is Forgiving and Appreciative. Today, we can cultivate this hope by doing small good deeds, like reciting a part of the Quran or helping someone. We know that Allah sees our efforts and will reward them.
Recite a short surah or give a discreet charity today, hoping for Allah's reward.
