السلام
This verse speaks of the believers' reward in Paradise.
سَلَٰمٞ قَوۡلٗا مِّن رَّبّٖ رَّحِيمٖ
"Peace!" A word from a Merciful Lord.
Quran, Yaseen 36:58
In the previous verse, it is said that the inhabitants of Paradise will have fruits and all they desire. Here, Allah adds that they will also receive peace, a word from Him, the Most Merciful. This word is a precious gift, a sign of His kindness. We can hope for this peace by living according to the Quran's teachings. Today, we can remember that Allah's mercy is immense and turn to Him with trust.
Take a minute to say "As-salāmu ʿalaykum" to someone, thinking of the peace Allah promises to His servants.
