أَنْعَامٌ
This verse invites us to open our eyes to Allah's gifts.
أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ أَيۡدِينَآ أَنۡعَٰمٗا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مَٰلِكُونَ
Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners?
Quran, Yaseen 36:71
Allah reminds us that He created livestock for us. They are a concrete blessing, at our disposal. The following verses specify that He has tamed them: some are for riding, others for food. This is proof of His kindness. We use things every day without thinking about the One who created them. Realizing these gifts is already gratitude. It makes us humble and thankful.
Today, thank Allah for a specific blessing, such as the food you eat, by saying: 'Alhamdulillah'.
