زُلْفَى
This verse shows that Allah's forgiveness leads to nearness to Him and a beautiful abode.
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ
And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.

After David's repentance, Allah forgave him and promised him nearness and a beautiful refuge. This verse associates forgiveness with closeness and a good abode, a source of hope.
