جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ
This verse opens a bright perspective on the reward of the righteous.
جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖ مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ
Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them.
Quran, Saad 38:50
In this passage, Allah speaks of the destiny of the righteous: gardens of Eden with wide-open doors. The image is powerful: these doors are not closed or guarded; they welcome. The previous verse already announces a beautiful retreat for those who fear Allah, and the next describes their comfort and fruits. Here, the emphasis is on welcome and openness. This image can nourish our hope in daily life. Even when doors seem closed in our lives, the divine promise remains open. We can cultivate this trust by turning to Him with sincerity.
Today, take a moment to visualize these open doors and make a sincere intention to draw closer to Allah.
