إخلاص
This verse invites us to devote our worship to Allah alone.
فَٱعۡبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ
So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.
Quran, Az-Zumar 39:2
In this verse, Allah reminds that He has revealed the Book in truth. Then He commands the Prophet to worship Allah with exclusive devotion. This means our acts of worship should be done only for Him, not to impress others. In our daily life, we can purify our intentions. Before each prayer, Quran reading, or charity, we can remind ourselves that we do it for Allah alone. This makes our actions lighter and more sincere.
Today, before an act of worship, say inwardly: 'I do this for Allah alone.'
