ذِكْرَىٰ
This verse invites us to observe the cycle of water and crops as a sign.
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding.
Quran, Az-Zumar 39:21
Allah describes how water descends from the sky, flows in the earth, then brings forth crops of varying colors. Then they dry up and become debris. This natural cycle is a reminder for those who reflect. Observing nature helps us meditate on Allah's power. Whenever we see rain or a plant, we can remember Him.
Today, take a minute to observe an element of nature (rain, plant, sky) and say in your heart: 'This is a reminder of Allah's power.'
