The Reward of the Doers of Good

This verse announces a great reward for those who do good.

لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good.

Quran, Az-Zumar 39:34

Verse 34 of Surah Az-Zumar speaks about those who come with the truth and confirm it, as the previous verse says. For them, Allah promises everything they desire. This promise is called the reward of the doers of good, those who excel in faith and actions.

This reward encourages us to persist in doing good with hope. Even if we don't see immediate results, Allah sees our efforts. The next verse adds that He erases our faults and rewards according to the best of our deeds.

Today, perform a sincere good deed, even a small one, hoping for Allah's reward.
