Allah's Equitable Judgment

This verse reminds us that Allah alone judges with perfect fairness.

وَٱللَّهُ يَقۡضِي بِٱلۡحَقِّ

And Allah judges with truth

Quran, Ghafir 40:20

In this verse, Allah affirms that He judges with truth and fairness. The false deities judge nothing. The previous verse shows that Allah knows even hidden thoughts, and the next reminds us that past peoples were seized for their sins. Thus, only Allah has the authority and knowledge to render a perfect judgment.

We are often tempted to rely on our own opinions or those of others. But this verse invites us to place our trust in Allah's judgment, which is always just. In our daily decisions, we can seek to apply this justice.

Today, before making a decision, ask yourself: 'What would Allah judge as just?' and act accordingly.
