دُعَاء
Allah promises to respond to those who call upon Him.
وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدۡعُونِيٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡۚ
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you."
Quran, Ghafir 40:60
This verse is a direct promise from Allah. He invites us to call upon Him, and He guarantees a response. Supplication is an act of worship that brings us closer to Him. The verse associates arrogance with refusing to worship Allah, and mentions that those who turn away will enter Hell, humiliated. In our daily lives, we can turn to Allah at any time. Whether for a simple need or a difficulty, calling upon Him strengthens our bond with Him. It is a sign of trust and submission.
