Call upon Allah with sincerity

This verse invites us to direct our supplications to Allah alone, with complete sincerity.

فَٱدۡعُوهُ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ

So call upon Him, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

Quran, Ghafir 40:65

The verse states that Allah is the Ever-Living, there is no deity except Him. It then commands us to call upon Him, being sincere to Him in religion. This means our worship, prayers, and requests should be directed to Him alone, without associating anything with Him.

In our daily lives, we can apply this by being mindful that whenever we turn to Allah, we do so with a sincere heart, devoting ourselves solely to Him. This helps us refocus our intention and strengthen our connection with Him.
