فَٱصۡبِرۡ
This verse calls for patience, relying on the certainty that Allah's promise is true.
فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۚ
So be patient; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth.
Quran, Ghafir 40:77
In this verse, Allah commands patience and reminds that His promise is true. The context mentions the fate of the arrogant and the certainty of returning to Him. Patience is not passive resignation, but a strength based on trust in Allah. In our daily lives, we face difficulties and injustices. This verse teaches us to be patient, not by ignoring our emotions, but by keeping in mind that Allah's promise will be fulfilled. Every trial is an opportunity to strengthen our trust in Him.
Today, when you face a difficulty, repeat inwardly: 'Allah's promise is true' and take a small, useful action to move forward with patience.
