جَعَلَ لَكُمُ
This verse invites us to reflect on the animals we use in our daily lives.
جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمَ
It is Allah who made for you the grazing animals upon which you ride, and some of them you eat.
Quran, Ghafir 40:79
In this verse, Allah reminds us that He created domestic animals for our service. We ride them for travel and eat them for food. These blessings are signs of His kindness. When we use transportation or eat meat, we can think of Allah and be grateful to Him. This gratitude is shown through words and through respectful use of these gifts.
Today, before eating or traveling, say 'Alhamdulillah' and take a moment to thank Allah for these blessings.
