مَنَٰفِعُ
This verse invites us to reflect on the varied benefits of Allah's creatures.
وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ
And for you therein are [other] benefits
Quran, Ghafir 40:80
In this passage, Allah reminds us that He created livestock for us. We ride them, eat them, and they provide other benefits. The word 'manāfi'' refers to all the advantages we gain, such as milk, wool, or transport. The next verse emphasizes that these blessings are signs of Allah. Every day, we use things created by Allah without thinking. Realizing these benefits fills us with gratitude and helps us see His kindness in our daily lives.
Today, observe an animal or an object and note three benefits it brings you. Then say: 'Alhamdulillah'.
