غَفُورٖ رَّحِيمٖ
This verse reveals the nature of the gift reserved for the believers in Paradise.
نُزُلٗا مِّنۡ غَفُورٖ رَّحِيمٖ
as accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful.
Quran, Fussilat 41:32
In this passage, the angels announce to the believers that they will be their allies in this life and the Hereafter. They promise them everything they desire. Then they specify that this hospitality is a gift from the One who forgives and shows mercy. Thus, Paradise is not merely a reward: it is a generous welcome offered by Allah, whose names Forgiving and Merciful remind us of His infinite goodness. This verse invites us to receive Allah's mercy with confidence. Even after our mistakes, we can hope for His forgiveness. Today, we can turn to Him, acknowledge our faults, and ask Him to welcome us among the recipients of this generosity.
Today, after each prayer, ask Allah to welcome you among those who will receive this accommodation, invoking His names Forgiving and Merciful.
