صَبَرُواْ
This verse reveals that patience is the condition for receiving an immense good.
وَمَا يُلَقَّىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ
But none is granted it except those who are patient.
Quran, Fussilat 41:35
In the previous verse, Allah encourages repelling evil with a better deed. Verse 35 specifies that this attitude is only granted to those who are patient. Thus, patience is essential to achieve this noble behavior. This verse associates patience with an infinite grace. Being patient is not a weakness but a strength that opens the door to immense good. Today, we can cultivate this quality in our small daily actions.
Identify an irritating situation today and respond to it with patience, restraining your anger.
