عَمِلَ صَالِحًا
This verse reminds us that our deeds come back to us, for good or for ill.
مَّنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَسَآءَ فَعَلَيۡهَاۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّـٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
Whoever does righteousness - it is for his [own] soul; and whoever does evil [does so] against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants.
Quran, Fussilat 41:46
This verse links every action to its doer: a good deed benefits the one who performs it, and an evil deed harms him. Allah is never unjust to His servants; He gives each person what they deserve. In our daily lives, we may be tempted to blame others or circumstances. This verse invites us to take responsibility for our choices and act righteously, for we are the first beneficiaries of our good deeds.
Today, do one simple good deed, like helping someone or saying a kind word, knowing that it comes back to you.
