Signs for those who are patient and grateful

This verse invites us to contemplate Allah's power through ships at sea.

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٍ

Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

Quran, Ash-Shura 42:33

The verse mentions ships that, by Allah's will, can be stilled if the wind stops. This phenomenon is presented as a sign. This sign is for those who are patient and grateful. These two qualities are associated here.

In our daily lives, we can observe many signs of Allah. Recognizing them requires patience and gratitude. Today, let's take a moment to reflect on a sign we often see.
