التقوى
This verse invites us to reflect on what makes our friendships sincere and lasting.
إِلَّا ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
except for the righteous
Quran, Az-Zukhruf 43:67
The verse announces that on that Day, friends will become enemies to each other, except the righteous. It does not say that every friendship will break, but that only bonds founded on piety will survive. Others, built on interests or passions, will not withstand. Today, we can ask ourselves: what unites my friendships? If it is piety, they are solid. Otherwise, they risk crumbling. Piety is the awareness of Allah that guides our choices and relationships.
Today, contact a friend and share with them a verse or a reflection on piety, to strengthen your bond on this basis.
