جزاء
This verse reminds us that Paradise is the reward for our deeds.
وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.
Quran, Az-Zukhruf 43:72
In the previous verse, the believers receive everything they desire and abide therein eternally. This verse clarifies that this Paradise is given to them as an inheritance because of their deeds. It is not an unconditional gift, but a recompense for what they used to do. Every good deed, even a small one, counts. Today, we can perform an act that brings us closer to this inheritance, such as a smile, help, or a kind word.
Do one sincere good deed today, even a small one, knowing that every action counts for the Hereafter.
