حق
This verse reminds us that the truth was brought, but many reject it.
لَقَدۡ جِئۡنَٰكُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ
We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse.
Quran, Az-Zukhruf 43:78
In this verse, Allah reminds that He brought the truth, but most people hated it. The word 'truth' (ḥaqq) means what is right and in accordance with reality. This verse invites us not to be among those who reject the truth out of pride or habit. In our daily lives, we may sometimes refuse a truth because it is uncomfortable. Today, we can choose to accept a truth, even if it is difficult, and act upon it.
Identify a truth you tend to avoid and accept it today, committing to act accordingly.
