غَفْر
This verse invites believers to forgive those who do not hope for the days of Allah.
يَغۡفِرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ
that they forgive those who do not expect the days of Allah
Quran, Al-Jaathiya 45:14
In this verse, Allah tells the Prophet to say to the believers to forgive those who do not hope for the days of Allah. The next verse reminds that everyone will be recompensed for their deeds: good benefits its doer, evil harms its doer, then all will be returned to their Lord. Forgiving does not mean approving injustice, but freeing oneself from the weight of resentment. It is a strength that allows one to live in peace, leaving judgment to Allah.
Today, if someone wrongs you, say to yourself: 'I forgive you' and leave the matter to Allah.
