حَمْد
This verse invites us to recognize that Allah is worthy of all praise.
فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَرَبِّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Then, to Allah belongs [all] praise - Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds.
Quran, Al-Jaathiya 45:36
In this verse, Allah teaches us that all praise belongs to Him. He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all the worlds. This recognition helps us become aware of His greatness and His sovereignty over everything. In our daily lives, we can easily forget to thank Allah for His blessings. This verse reminds us to offer our praise to Him, whether in times of joy or hardship, for He is the Master of all.
Today, take a moment to say 'Alhamdulillah' (praise be to Allah) while thinking of a specific blessing, and thank Him sincerely.
